Children’s Table is Looking forward to 2014

Childrens Table Holiday Event (41 of 57)Everyone had a Holly Jolly time last week as Fabled Table hosted the Children’s Table Holiday Event ‘Oh! What Fun!’.  With the help of Volunteers and the Fabled Table Staff, children enjoyed a morning filled with ginger bread house making, cookie & brownie decorating, and much more! The turnout was incredible.

Childrens Table Holiday Event (1 of 57)“This is such an exciting way to start out the new year! We are so pleased with how the new location and large multi-purpose space will allow us to provide great events like this in 2014.” -Mike Fedalen, Owner Fabled Table & Chef Mule

Childrens Table Holiday Event (30 of 57)“We are so happy to be able to host more children’s cooking programs this year. I think parents are remembering how beneficial cooking with the family is- Even with the limited time parents are working around these days, its important for kids to experience and learn about what goes on in the kitchen. By creating events like this, we hope to give children a lasting experience that will raise their interest in how things we eat are made and hopefully spark a desire to become involved with cooking at home!” -Lisa Ferguson, Owner Fabled Table & Chef Mule

Here’s some pictures from the event and don’t forget to connect with us on Facebook to share in the excitement!

Spring taste buds have SPRUNG!

Cherry Blossom Coffee CakeSomething about the bright blooms of the new season has been making us hungry for brunch. We love to experiment with juicy berries and fruit in our baking which has led us this week to this scrumptious cherry blossom coffee cake. We omitted some of the sugar letting the tart cherries have a chance to be the real star of this cake. You may even find this cake appearing in mini form on your brunch trays in the future. Who knows what other flavors we might come up with…
