Fabled Table & Children’s Table will be at the Farm to Table Tasting at the Convention Center on Friday,
March 21st from 5-8pm.
(Both Tables will be offering tasty treats.)
About Farm to Table: The conference provides consumers with two days of networking and educational opportunities. Hands-on cooking demonstrations, gardening and information about nutrition and health are available. The conference provides consumers with ideas and information about where their food comes from and where to find businesses and organizations who can provide them with healthy food and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Our Keynote Speaker, Judy Wicks, speaks on Friday at 11:30. She is the founder of White Dog Café & Author of “Good Morning, Beautiful Business: the Unexpected Journey of an Activist Entrepreneur and Local Economy Pioneer.”
- Chatham University’s Food Studies program is offering a speaker track on Saturday, March 22.
- The Girl Scouts of Western PA is offering kids activities on Saturday, March 22.
- Michael Fracasso, musician & author, will play at the Local Food Tasting on Friday, March 21. He is also the author of a cookbook, Artist in the Kitchen. Michael & local food celeb Leah Lizarondo will be doing a cooking demo earlier that afternoon.
